SILENCE - OUT NOW

A very reflective painting expressing a time where my world appeared to stand still after losing my Mum.When it first happened I stopped painting for 3 months which is the longest time I have not been creative for since I was a very little girl. It might not seem a long time to many of you but for me, it is unheard of as painting is such an essential part of my being. It took courage to step inside the studio once again and to be left in isolation with my emotions and the paint. The silence felt deafening in my studio with my mind and heart racing and as the tears fell into my paint I began to paint from my soul once again.
